The team was made up of 14 girls from Stage 2 and 3 who went through a trial to make the team. We had two training sessions and one meeting prior to the game. We were excited to play.
The game started and Jindabyne PS had lots of possession and more corners than Cooma North PS. Nessie saved an excellent goal in the first half. In the second half, Cooma North PS scored a goal making the score 0-1. No more goals were scored but the game remained close throughout.
Thank you to Mrs Bateman for coaching and Mrs Brooke for volunteering her time and being an excellent referee. Thanks also to Ms Doyle and Mr McAlister for helping on the day.
Although we lost the game, it was fun while we were playing. The Jindy team made lots of good tackles, cleared the ball from our goal many times and did lots of running. Overall, we played well and are proud of ourselves. We look forward to having a chance to play again next year.

A big thank you to the organising staff. We also extend our gratitude to Cooma North PS for a great game.
The NSW Primary Schools Sports Association Knockout Soccer competition draws over 80 schools from across the South Coast, making it a highly competitive and exciting event. We are incredibly proud of our team for giving it their all and having a go in this challenging competition. Well done, girls!
