Read on for a detailed account of the match, written by one of our talented Stage 3 students!

On the 6th of June, Jindabyne Public School played Cooma Public School for the Stage 3 Netball Knockout Competition.

The game was very competitive, but the oppositions were very nice. The game started fairly quickly and was well on its way from the get-go. Jindabyne and Cooma were already puffed and hot even though it was freezing and raining on the outdoor courts.

After the 1st quarter, Cooma was in the lead and Jindabyne was still trailing by one.

In the second quarter, Jindabyne was pushing harder but still a bit behind. It was about 12 to 3 now.

After a long break for half time, we were ready to play again. In this quarter, we tried a lot harder because we got more feedback from watching the other team play. We noticed things and learnt more techniques.

In the third quarter, we were still trailing and yet having a lot of fun.

Finally, the last quarter was here, and we were still hoping and trying our best to defeat Cooma. We thought positively to push through and defeat. We all did amazing in the last quarter and fully improved.

The final score was 11 - 32. We lost but we still had an incredible time. It was a fun match and it felt very long, tiring and yet the most fun.
