Other Snowsports Competitions

Students may wish to enter other Snowsport competitions listed below. Parents should note that we cannot provide supervision or take responsibility for students who take part in these events, and we encourage parents to attend and support their children if they are taking part.

Pymble Cup

The Pymble Cup is open to all school students and is organised by Pymble Ladies College.  It is held during the school holidays and is the perfect opportunity for students to have a practice race before the Interschools Championships.

The Pymble Cup is an individual student competition and offers both Alpine GS and Snowboard GS events.  Entries are limited so register early.

Scots Cup

The Scots Race provides a fun, family orientated day, providing an opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to experience the thrill of doing down a gentle blue run in a Race environment.  It is an individual, not team based event, for Alpine GS and Snowboard GS.  Entries are open to all boys and girls from any School or College, from Transition to Year 12, along with their parents and siblings if they wish!

Children compete in all Divisions as normally used in Interschools Championships.

Entries for the Scots Cup are NOT coordinated through the school. CLICK HERE for information about the race and to complete online entries.

Redlands Cup

The Redlands Cup is open to students from Kindergarten through to Year 12 and is another great "warm up" for those preparing for the Interschools Championships.  Events are held for boys and girls in age divisions.

Teams consist of a maximum of 4 girls or boys with the best 3 times for two runs counted for alpine events, while 3 for Snowboarding with the best 2 times counted. Interschools rules will apply to all events. The Redlands Cups are presented to the fastest Alpine and Snowboard boy and girl team member on the day.

All entries are required to be made through the school. Registration will be sent out and can be found on our communications platform.

It is a requirement that a parent acts as the team manager for this event.

Amelia McGuiness Memorial Time Trial

The Amelia McGuiness Time Trial is a great opportunity to practice your racing technique, to have fun with your family, or to experience what racing is all about. 

As a tribute to Amelia McGuiness, who tragically died in a skiing accident on the slopes at the perisher Resort in 2009, the "Amelia McGuiness Australian Snowsports Development Foundation: (AMASDF) was established.  AMASDF is recognised and commended throughout the snowsports community for its support of up-and-coming athletes.
