Here is a celebration of student work from throughout the term. Further samples of student work can be found in our newsletters. Please note this work is from Term 4, 2023 and will be updated soon.
During the Stage 3 Dance Unit this term, students had an enriching experience exploring diverse dance styles such as Zumba, Hula, Bollywood, Mà„ori Haka, and the Samoan Haka. The unit not only involved learning these styles but also included composing original dances, incorporating elements and contexts of dance. Students showcased their creativity by performing their own choreography and appreciating dances from different times and cultures. This holistic approach allowed them to develop a deeper understanding and connection to the art of dance. Thank you to guest instructor Tui Samoa!
