Jindabyne Public School's first Kosci Award assembly

On Wednesday, June 26 Jindabyne Public School held its first Kosci Award assembly for students who have reached the Twynam Level of this three-level award system. The students who received their bronze Twynam Certificates have all made positive contributions to the Jindabyne Public School community through consistently displaying positive behaviour, consistent effort and achievement in their learning, citizenship and leadership qualities. Each student is an example to their peers!

All students have the opportunity to earn logo stamps for their engagement in a range of activities during the course of the year. Students may receive stamps for academic achievement and effort, consistently high attendance, participation in representative sporting competitions, displaying positive behaviour and representing the school in a range of community events. At JPS we pride ourselves on educating the whole child, and are just as proud of the students who make the most of the opportunities provided for them.

Today's award recipients, along with their invited guests, also enjoyed a sumptuous morning tea provided by school staff and Anika in the canteen. We look forward to our next Kosci Assembly early in Term 3.
