JPS Celebrates student achievement at Kosci Awards assembly

Kosic Awards

13 August,2024, marked a milestone at Jindabyne Public School as we hosted our second Awards Assembly since the introduction of our Kosci Awards System. The assembly was a celebration of our students' dedication, effort, and positive behavior, and we were thrilled to present both Twynam Awards and, for the first time, the prestigious Townsend Award.

The Twynam Awards are part of our three-level award system designed to acknowledge students who consistently display positive behavior, demonstrate strong effort and achievement in their learning, and exhibit leadership qualities. Each recipient of the Twynam Award is a shining example to their peers, showing what can be achieved through hard work and commitment. The Townsend Award, awarded for the first time, represents an even higher level of achievement, honouring students who have gone above and beyond in their contributions to the school community. Congratulations to Aisha-Juliet from Stage 3 who was the first to reach this level under our new awards system.

We were delighted to have so many parents and families in attendance, whose support is crucial in helping our students thrive. Following the assembly, our guests were treated to a delightful morning tea. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect and celebrate together.

At Jindabyne Public School, we believe in recognising and reinforcing achievements and positive behaviours for learning. This is a collaborative effort that requires the ongoing support of both our school and our families. We are committed to continuing this partnership as we work together to nurture and inspire our students.

We look forward to continuing to celebrate success together.
