The conference agenda was packed with insightful topics, ranging from 'How Everybody Can Step Forward and Lead' to 'The Sacrifices of a Student Leader' and 'Stepping Forward with New Ideas'. Additionally, students had the opportunity to explore 'The Extra Steps- Doing the Things that Leaders Often Forget' followed by an engaging Q&A session with the GRIP Leadership Team.
Reflecting on their experience, JPS students shared their newfound insights. Lily remarked, "We learnt the leadership qualities that you need to be a good leader, and the sacrifices you may have to make to make the school and community a better place." Shelby added, "It's also been good to communicate with the other schools from around the region and to figure out ways to make our school a better place and community."
With enthusiasm and determination, the students are eager to apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge to enrich the JPS community throughout the year. As they continue their leadership journey, we anticipate great strides towards creating a more inclusive, dynamic, and empowered school environment.
